In this workshop, you’ll not only leave with a beautiful watercolor painting but also a personal watercolor palette and the skills to make your own artwork at home! The class will begin with the practice of watercolors and trying your hand at various techniques, such as mastering different types of washes, dry brushing, gradients, and more. You’ll then apply those techniques to create your own wildflower paintings. Think of this class as a way to add tools to your artistic toolbox! Everyone will take home the watercolor palette they used in class, too!

Artist Bio: 

Elisabeth Strunk is an artist and art educator based in the Front Range of Colorado. She up-cycles vintage and thrifted pieces of clothing by hand painting designs inspired by traditional American tattoos. She also independently teaches watercolor and wood burning workshops, focusing not only on product but process - the act of making art for the simple joy of creating.
